It is a royal decoration that His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej graciously bestowed on July 22, 1991, to be awarded to those who have done good deeds that are beneficial to the country, religion, and the people. It is divided into 7 classes, awarded to men and women as His Majesty deems appropriate. - 7th Class: The Direkgunabhorn Silver Medal, a class for those who donate 100,000 baht or more. The obverse is a round silver medal with a golden Garuda in a circle in the center, surrounded by a latticework of eight lotus petals in the eight directions. Above is the Great Crown. There is a halo and an unalom. On the back, there is the royal initials "P.P.R."for bestowing upon women. The seal is hung from a ribbon tied in the shape of a dragonfly. The ribbon is green with a vermilion border and has small white and yellow stripes on both sides. - Used to decorate the shirt on the left shoulder.
