First Class Boy Scout Medal Ribbon with original box
The Scout Salute Medal is a royal medal given as a reward for outstanding service in the government. It was created in accordance with the Scout Act of 1964, similar to the Scout Praise Medal, and is awarded to Scout leaders, Scout inspectors, Scout committee members, officials, and other individuals who have rendered significant service, or who have dedicated their physical or mental energy to activities that have benefited Scouts. Furthermore, in 1987, His Majesty graciously proclaimed the Ramakiera Royal Decoration Act, an additional level of the Special Scout Salute Medal.
The Scout Salute Medal is a silver medallion with an oval shape, measuring 2.5 centimeters wide and 3.2 centimeters long.
Front - In the center is the emblem of a tiger with a Vajira symbol. On the upper edge are the words "Boy Scouts" and on the lower edge are the words "Die your life, but don't break your promise". The emblem of a tiger with a Vajira symbol and the words should be made in an embossed pattern.
The reverse side is a smooth surface, engraved with the name of the recipient and the date of award. At the top edge of the coin is a hanging loop. The ribbon is 2.4 centimeters wide and has a yellow stripe 1.2 centimeters wide in the middle. On both sides of the edge are black stripes 6 millimeters wide.
The Scout Medal of Honor is divided into three levels as follows:
The first level has a Vajira pin made of silver metal, decorated with a ribbon in the center in a vertical direction.
The second level has a tiger-faced pin made of silver metal, decorated on a ribbon in the center in a vertical direction.
The third level does not have the Vajira Medal and the Tiger-face Medal decorated on the ribbon.
This medal is worn on a ribbon and hung on the chest above the left pocket.
Royal bestowal
1. For bestowing upon Scoutmasters, Scout Inspectors, Scout Committee Members, Scout Officers, and other persons who have rendered significant service to Scouting, or who have devoted their physical or mental energy to activities that have benefited Scouting, in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Scout Act of 1964, the Scout Act (No. 3) of 1985, and the Scout Act (No. 4) of 1987, as follows:
The First Class Scout Commendation Medal will be awarded to those who have made significant contributions to Scouting or who have devoted their physical or mental energy to activities that have greatly benefited Scouting, in accordance with the criteria set by the National Scout Executive Committee.
