This Buddha Chinnarat image is a Sukhothai-style Buddha image. The Buddha's features include graceful contours, arched brows, deer-like eyes, a prominent nose, and a sash divided into centipede fangs. The fingers of his robes are all the same length, appearing in the Mara-Vijaya posture. Two giants guard the image on the left and right, as well as Moggallana and Sariputta, his chief disciples. Furthermore, there is a glass pavilion, believed to have been built during the Ayutthaya period, shaped like a heron, a truly stunning piece of art. The Buddha Chinnarat is enshrined in a nine-room vihara, which has undergone continuous renovations up to the present day, resulting in the Buddha's present-day beauty. Historically, Thai kings throughout the ages have consistently paid homage and devotion to the Buddha.
