A historic ceremony in which 130 monks from Phitsanulok consecrated sacred amulets from ten thousand temples.

The first consecration ceremony was held at Wat Benchamabophit. Famous senior monks from each province throughout the Kingdom of Thailand consecrated at 100 temples, covering 100 cities throughout the country. 1,999 senior monks from every district in Bangkok performed the grand Buddha consecration ceremony, celebrating at the Ubosot of Wat Suthat Thepwararam, the Giant Swing. The final ceremony was held on 26 July 2007 at Wat Suthat Thepwararam.
This is the first amulet created in a large scale, giving merit to "Mother" of the entire country, as a souvenir for the fundraising for the construction of a cancer treatment and operation building for cancer patients of the Lopburi Cancer Center Foundation.
The purpose of creating this Phra Buddha Chinnarat amulet is to present a portion of the proceeds after expenses to His Majesty the King for charitable purposes. 99,999 2-centimeter-wide replicas of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat amulet will also be created, each made of nine metals, to be presented to military and police officers serving in the three southern border provinces. A portion will be donated to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Woramahawihan for the construction of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat Buddhist College. Another portion will be donated to Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram for the renovation of the ubosot (ordination hall). Finally, the General Phichit Kulwanich Foundation, Privy Councilor, will be used to support military and police officers serving in the three southern border provinces.
To create this edition of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat, the fundraising committee wrote to the Royal Secretary, requesting royal permission. His Majesty the King graciously granted this permission. The fundraising committee then wrote to the Royal Thai Police, the Royal Thai Army, the Ministry of Interior, and the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OEC) to help publicize the project and encourage the public to make donations as a tribute to His Majesty.
