The ordination medal of King Rama X, which was created, consists of...
1. Holy water bowl coin, size 7 cm., copper material, not many in number.
2. Gold, silver, and copper coins (engraved with numbers) in sets of 109.
3. Single silver coin, engraved with the number 999.
4. A small number of gold-plated bronze coins.
5. 84,000 bronze coins
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn had faith in Buddhism and was ordained as a monk. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej ordered the ordination ceremony to be held at the boundary marker of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram on November 6, 1978.
With Somdej Phra Ariyawongsakhatayan, the Supreme Patriarch (Vassan Vasano) as the preceptor, Somdej Phra Yanasangwon (Charoen Suwattano) as the preceptor, and Somdej Phra Thiranyanamuni (Theer Punnako) giving the instruction.
He was given the ecclesiastical name "Vajiralongkorn".
and resided at Wat Bowonniwet Vihara until he disrobed on 20 November 1978.
