Organized by the Faculty of Medicine Foundation, Chulalongkorn University
Produced by the Royal Mint, Treasury Department. His Majesty the King graciously appointed His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn to represent him in presiding over the auspicious consecration ceremony of the King Ananda Mahidol (Rama V) medallion. The ceremony was produced by the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University Foundation to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. The auspicious consecration ceremony was held at the Royal Vihara, Wat Suthat Thepwararam on January 6, 1992. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn anointdled the auspicious candle, while His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, lit the auspicious candle, while His Holiness Somdet Phra Buddhacarya of Wat Sam Phraya extinguished the candle. Nine highly revered monks performed meditation and prayers, while nine highly revered monks performed prayers and meditated.
