Inside the edge of the coin above is the message that "His Majesty King Chulalongkorn Phra Chula Chom Klao Chao Yu Hua" Behind - The middle of the coin has the letter "Jor Por Ror" under the Phra Maha Mongut. On the right and left sides of the royal monogram "Jor Por", there are artificial Thai numerals "2396" and "2003" respectively. Inside the rim of the coin above there is the message "150 years of the King's birthday, 20 September 2003".
