Commemorative coin in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej In bringing the countryside to Wattana, the front - middle of the coin has a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. while having close interactions with the people on the occasion of His Majesty's visit to see rural projects Along the edge of the coin above, it says “King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX” below is the text “Thailand” with round dots between the texts.
The reverse – center of the coin bears the Asian Institute of Technology insignia. At the bottom there is a message telling the price and the message "OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT". “In honor of bringing the countryside to Wattana” below is the message “20 July 1987”.
Characteristics of a round coin, the outer rim has a gear wheel.
