    Banknote information  His Majesty King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) ascended to the throne on November 26, 1925. In the early part of his reign, the Series 2 banknotes,  which had just been issued on July 21, 1925, or only 4 months before his accession to the throne, were still in use. All Series 2 banknotes of all denominations were therefore issued throughout his reign.
 However, due to the change of reign and in preparation for the expiration of the Series 2 banknotes, the Ministry of Finance arranged for a company to print the banknotes in 1928 and agreed to hire Thomas de la Rue to print the Series 3 banknotes.
Thomas de la Rue proposed a format that incorporated a portrait as the main image, as portraits are suitable for embossing and have details that are difficult to counterfeit. Therefore, it was deemed appropriate to use the portrait of King Prajadhipok as the main image on the banknotes, following the model in other countries.
During the banknote printing process, the People's Party changed the government from an absolute monarchy to a democracy on June 24, 1932. The process of new banknotes was delayed. In 1934, the 3rd series banknotes were gradually issued in denominations of 10 baht, 1 baht, and 5 baht, respectively. The 20-baht banknotes were issued in 1935 after His Majesty abdicated on March 2, 1934. The
3rd series banknotes continued to be used during the reign of King Ananda Mahidol, Rama VIII, but the main image on the front was changed to a portrait of King Rama VIII, which is considered the 2nd series of the 3rd series banknotes. The
10-baht series 3rd series banknotes were announced on June 22, 1934.

   Front of the banknote  The key elements are the portrait of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) in military uniform on the left. In the center is a landscape view of the Ping River with the image of Airavata in the lower right corner. The serial number and number are printed in red ink. Below the serial number is the date of the banknote in red ink.
On the reverse side of the banknote  , the main image is Phra Samut Chedi within a frame surrounded by floral patterns. A message stating the penalties for banknote counterfeiting is printed in the lower center. In the white circle in the lower left is a watermark of Airavata, the three-headed elephant.
Signatures on the banknote
include the Minister of Finance,
 Chao Phraya Sri Dharmadhibes (24 June 1933 - 21 September 1934),
and Phraya Manawarat Sewi (22 September 1934 - 1 August 1935).
