Phra Phuttha Chinnarat amulet, three-metal alloy, small size (17 mm tall), "Because This Land Is Our Birthplace" series, 2005. Original casing.

Guaranteed authentic.*** The "Because This Land Is Our Birthplace" project's proceeds were presented to His Majesty the King for royal projects and the development of medical and public health in Thailand. The amulet was consecrated at the Ubosot (main chapel) of Wat Phra Sri Rattanasasadaram (Wat Phra Kaew) and the Vihara (main chapel) of Wat Phra Sri Rattanamahathat Woramahawihan (Phitsanulok Province) in December 2005. Created by the Vajiraved College Foundation under Royal Patronage, with the overwhelming royal patronage of His Majesty the King. His Majesty the King graciously granted permission to inscribe his royal monogram, "ภ.ป.ร." (B.P.R.), on the back of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat image and bestowed sacred powder, "Phra Chitlada," as an ingredient in its creation. This powder is considered the supreme sacred material created by His Majesty the King with profound faith in Buddhism. It is made using a blend of high-quality ingredients according to ancient texts, including soil from sacred sites, gold leaf from Buddha images, incense ash from altars of sacred places throughout the Kingdom, such as those of the Phra Buddha Maha Mani Ratana Patimakor (Emerald Buddha), Phra Buddha Chinnarat, Phra Buddha Chinnasi, Phra Buddha Sothon, the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine, Phra Pathom Chedi, Phra Borom That Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phra That Doi Suthep, Phra That Phra Prang Wat Arun, and personal materials from various ceremonies, such as dried flowers from garlands offered by the people during His Majesty's royal visits to change the robes of the Phra Buddha Maha Mani Ratana Patimakor. (The Emerald Buddha) and it was hung on the Buddha image until the robes were changed. Dried flowers that were draped over the Great White Royal Umbrella and the handle of the Royal Sword during the Coronation Ceremony, as well as the most important and priceless item, the hair of His Majesty the King, were mixed in. Therefore, it can be said that "Jitralada Powder" is the supreme material, imbued with Buddhist virtues and great compassion, the highest aspiration of the Thai people. In addition, the committee also invited the Benjapakee, the five most revered Thai amulets, to be included in this creation: Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang, known as the "King of Amulets"; Phra Nang Phaya from Phitsanulok; Phra Kamphaeng Sum Kor from Kamphaeng Phet; Phra Rod from Wat Mahawan, Lamphun; and Phra Phong Suphan from Wat Phra Si Mahathat, Suphan Buri. Thus, the creation of this Phra Phuttha Chinnarat (replica) is more special than any other in history, as it incorporates the ultimate auspicious and sacred elements of Thailand: Jitralada Powder and the Benjapakee amulets. These amulets, especially the Phra Chinnarat amulet created on this occasion, are exceptionally beautiful, meticulously crafted with exquisite detail. The intricate high-relief carving of the Phra Chinnarat image is beautifully detailed, as is the careful application of gold leaf to the entire amulet, leaving it gleaming yellow. The back features the royal monogram "ภ.ป.ร." (Bhumibol Adulyadej), a magnificent and valuable amulet. Available in both pure gold and silver, each amulet is numbered. A grand auspicious ceremony, a three-day, three-night Maha Phutthapisek (consecration) ceremony in the style of a Grand Emperor, was held at Wat Phra Sri Mahathat, Chakri Sirindhorn.In Phitsanulok, 108 highly respected monks chanted full Buddhist prayers, and 108 renowned monks from all regions of Thailand sat in meditation to bless the amulet. |
