Description
The statue of His Majesty the King when he was ordained as a monk, Power of the Land model, year 2011 , with the original box, complete with acrylic beautiful condition , now rare because it was made according to orders.The statue is cast from bronze, lap width 2 inches, base size approximately width 6 x 10 cm. Acrylic cover size 13 x 16 cm.
Under the base is filled with Chitralada Maha Mongkol powder and His Majesty's hair, covered under the base with white synthetic material.
The “Commemorative Coin of His Majesty the King’s Ordination, Power of the Land” project was first created in Thailand to honor His Majesty the King and express loyalty on the occasion of His Majesty’s 84th birthday on December 5, 2011, and the 55th anniversary of His Majesty’s ordination. The project aims to unite Thai people in making merit with His Majesty the King by donating to receive the “Commemorative Coin of His Majesty the King’s Ordination, Power of the Land”. His Majesty the King has graciously selected the prototype and has granted royal permission to produce a special 10 million coin to commemorate His Majesty’s birthday on December 5, 2011. Proceeds from the donations, after deducting expenses, will be presented to His Majesty as part of the “Sayamindradhiraj” Medical Institute Project at Siriraj Hospital.
