King Rama IX Khao Chi Chan bronze coin, Wat Yansangwararam, 3 cm. in size, with case. Khao
Chi Chan carved Buddha image coin. On the other side is the royal portrait of the Ministry of Finance, made in 1995 to celebrate 50 years on the throne. In the center of the coin is the image of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, facing left, wearing royal regalia. Along the lower rim is the inscription "In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of His Majesty's accession to the throne." In the center of the coin is a carved Buddha image on the cliff of Khao Chi Chan. Below the Buddha image is the inscription "Phra Phuttha Maha Wachira Uttamobhassada" " #Khao Chi Chan, Wat Yansangwararam" "B.E. 2538". Along the lower rim is the Royal Mint mark . #Phra Phuttha Maha Wachira Uttamobhassada is a seated Buddha image in the Mara Vijaya attitude. Imitating Phra Buddha Navarat Bophit, 109 meters high, lotus base 20 meters high. The creation of the Buddha image carved on the cliff of Khao Chi Chan, Wat Yansangwararam, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, using a laser light system to be the stone carved Buddha image of King Rama IX, in honor of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of the 50th anniversary of his accession to the throne on June 9, 1996. |
