Sapphire is a precious gemstone, a blue variety of the mineral corundum, that signifies sincerity, truth, and faithfulness. Although typically blue, sapphires can also be found in other colors and are sometimes associated with protective and spiritual properties. Beyond gemstones, “Sapphire” can also refer to various other things, such as a song, a series of visual effects plugins for video editing, or different businesses and brands.
