Emerald

Emerald

An emerald is a valuable, green-colored gemstone and a variety of the mineral beryl. Prized for its rich, verdant hue, it is one of the four recognized "precious gemstones," along with diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. Most emeralds contain natural inclusions, known as jardin (French for garden), which can add to their unique character.
