First edition silver commemorative coin for the construction of the Royal Monument at Phra Chulachomklao Fort, minted in 1992, 2.7 cm in diameter, with original box, unused.

was minted to commemorate the construction of the Royal Monument at Phra Chulachomklao Fort on October 23, 1992.
The obverse features a portrait of King Chulalongkorn in his Admiral's uniform. The
reverse bears his royal monogram, "Siamin."
On April 10, 1992, marking the 99th anniversary of Phra Chulachomklao Fort, government agencies, private sectors, and the public agreed to erect a royal monument to him at the fort to commemorate his benevolence in constructing this important naval strategic location. The monument depicts him in a naval uniform, standing two and a half times the height of his actual height.
This coin was minted by the Royal Thai Mint, Department of Treasury, and consecrated at Phra Chulachomklao Fortress, Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan Province. The Supreme Patriarch presided over the ceremony, with many renowned monks participating in the blessing.
