Front - There is a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej facing right, wearing the full uniform of a commander-in-chief, the royal robe of the Maha Chakri Dynasty, the Most Illustrious Order of the Chakri Dynasty, and the Chula Chom Klao necklace.
Reverse side - The emblem of the 60th Anniversary Celebration of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne is displayed. Within the upper rim of the coin is the text "60th Anniversary Celebration of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne". Within the lower rim is the text "9 June 2006".
