Front - In the center of the coin is a portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, facing diagonally to the left, wearing a Thai dress, a shoulder blade embroidered with gold thread, a nine-leaf clover brooch, decorated with the Most Illustrious Order of the Chakri Dynasty and the Ratana Phorn Medal of King Rama IX, and a pattern of love petals along the edge.
Reverse - In the center of the coin is the royal initials "S.T." crossed under a royal crown, without a sideburn. Within the upper rim is the text "Royal Ceremony of the Establishment of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn". Below is the text "5 December 1977" with a flower at the top and bottom. There is a royal crown, without a sideburn. Behind the crown is a ring.
