The Ministry of Finance, through the Treasury Department, produced this medallion on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday anniversary, 12 August 2022.
Front - The center of the medallion features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, wearing diamond earrings, Thai dress, and a sash belonging to the Most Illustrious Order of the Great Chakri Dynasty, crossed across her shoulders, wearing the Maha Chakri Necklace, the Chakri Star, and the Chakri Sash. The left side is decorated with the First Class Chula Chom Klao Emblem. And the Ratana Phorn Medal of King Rama IX, Class 1, inside the rim of the coin, below is the text "Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother".
Back - In the center of the coin is the royal monogram "S.K." under the royal crown. Below is the text "Celebrating Her Majesty's 90th Birthday, 12 August 2022".
Outer rim of the coin, on the upper front side is the royal monogram "S.K." under the royal crown. On the back, the outer rim has a loop for men to hang from a 32 mm wide ribbon, for women to hang from the aforementioned ribbon, tied in the shape of a dragonfly.
