Description
This commemorative coin marks the 30th anniversary of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and the Bhumibol Dam,
issued in 1999 (B.E. 2542). It's a limited edition, rare, and highly sought after. Such items are not often seen; collectors shouldn't miss this opportunity.
The teardrop-shaped coin is made of copper plated with silver, measuring 4 cm in height.
Only 900 coins
were produced by the Royal Thai Mint, Department of Treasury.
Obverse side: In the center of the coin is a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej facing left.
Reverse side: Image of the Bhumibol Dam. Above the image are the words "Bhumibol Dam," and below are the words "Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand" and "30 Years EGAT 2542".
