1 oz 99.9% Silver Congo Stegosaurus Coin 2023- part of the prehistoric life series.
The motive of the premium bullion coin, struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver, features two stegosauri in a primeval landscape. Above the dinosaurs are the inscriptions “PREHISTORIC LIFE”, “STEGOSAURUS”, “157 – 148 MIO YEARS BC” and the year of issue 2023. The reverse features the coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Stegosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the late Jurassic period about 150 million years ago. It is especially known for the prominent bone plates on its back and the four pointed spines on its tail. Despite its enormous size, Stegosaurus had a remarkably small brain, often compared to the size of a walnut.
