'Australia’s ‘Great Race’ at Bathurst reaches a special milestone in 2023, the 60th anniversary of its first running in 1963 at the world-famous Mount Panorama circuit. Synonymous with being a test of driver and machine against the challenging circuit and built on the rivalry between Holden and Ford, the race has made drivers and their cars into legends.
AC/DC is an Australian music icon and this year celebrates 50 years since forming in 1973. To recognise Australia’s most popular rock band, the Royal Australian Mint is releasing three coins, which will appeal to AC/DC fans as well as new and repeat collectors.
