Incorporating a couple of new techniques from the producer, this silver coin is dedicated to the ninth of all the animals in the Chinese Zodiac. The coin is made of 25 g pure silver 999, boasting its black proof and HiCarv. This shiny silver piece featuring the lucky symbol of 2016 has got the symbolic.

The obverse represents the composition which consists of the Bank of Mongolia emblem and the following inscriptions: the face value of the coin, its weight, and metal fineness.
A pretty neat design of the reverse features a detailed image of a monkey and the Chinese symbol standing for this animal.
The coin is struck as a ‘black proof’, and it also uses a new striking technique called HiCarv, which appears to concentrate a section of ultra-high relief on a single part of the coin, with a different look, almost like it was rough-hewn from granite.
The Chinese believe that people born in the year of the monkey are astute, intelligent, and flexible which enables them to solve problems with ease.
Housed in a stylized timber box, this debut Mongolian lunar coin will make a beautiful lucky gift for those born in 2016 or any other Monkey year.
