Description
The 2005 $1 Silver Kangaroo Proof Coin is a superb contemporary design of a bounding kangaroo silhouetted against a stylised orb that depicts the Australian sun. The design also incorporates the stars of the Southern Cross. Carefully crafted by designer Wojciech Pietranik the $1 Silver Kangaroo has been struck in fine silver to the Royal Australian Mint's highest standard. The obverse of this beautiful collector coin depicts an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by lan Rank-Broadley. The 2005 $1 Silver Kangaroo Proof Coin has a limited mintage of 12500 coins.
