Description
The Australian Lunar silver bullion series contains coins in 1 kilo, 10oz, 2oz, 1 oz and 1/2oz sizes, with monetary denominations of $30, $10, $2, $1 and 50c respectively. Each coin is legal tender under the Australian Currency Regulations Act, with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth I on the obverse and one of the twelve Chinese lunar animals on the reverse. The coins are minted from 99.9% fine silver by the Perth Mint, Australia. Mintages of the 1 kilo, 10 oz and 2 oz coins are unlimited, but only 300,000 1 oz coins and 500,000 1/2oz coins will be issued.
