Along the left edge of the coin is labeled "Bhumibol Adulyadej" on the right side has the inscription "Rama IX"The reverse - center of the coin bears the emblem of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations 50 years. The top has the inscription in Thai numbers and the word "Baht", the bottom has the message in Arabic numerals and the word "BAHT" next to the edge of the coin, above is the text "50 years of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations" underneath.
