Obverse – The center of the coin features the image of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, dressed as Field Marshal of the Royal Thai Army, wearing the sash of the Most Exalted Order of the Noppharat Rajavarabhorn and the necklace of the Most Illustrious Order of the Chakri Dynasty. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, wearing diamond-studded earrings, wearing a Thai dress with an embroidered gold shoulder cloth, wearing the sash of the Most Exalted Order of the Noppharat Rajavarabhorn, and adorned with the Ratana Phorn King Rama IX medal. The face is facing forward. On the left side are the royal monogram “ภปร” beneath the royal crown. On the right side are the royal monogram “สก” beneath the royal crown.
Reverse – The center of the coin bears the Bank of Thailand logo. Along the top edge of the coin is the text “50 Years of the Bank of Thailand, 10 December 1992.” Below is the text “Thailand” and the denomination, with a floral pattern separating the text above and below on both sides.
