nickel, polished type, weight 15 grams,size 32 mm,production quantity 16,000 coins. Date of issue: 25 July 1988
Obverse - The center of the coin features the image of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, facing right, wearing full white army uniform, the sash of the Most Illustrious Order of the Crown of Thailand and the necklace of the Most Illustrious Order of the Great Chakri Dynasty. The image of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, facing right, wearing full uniform of the Royal Guards of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, wearing the sash and necklace of the Most Illustrious Order of the Great Chakri Dynasty. Within the rim on the right side of the coin is the inscription "Rama V" and on the left side is the inscription "Rama IX".
Reverse - The center of the coin features the official emblem of Siriraj Hospital, a Naga serpent coiled into the letter “S”, the abbreviation of His Royal Highness Prince Siriraj Kakudhabhand. Above the letter “S” is a royal crown with rays, which represents the personal emblem of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, the founder of Siriraj Hospital. Within the letter “S” is a walking stick with a snake wrapped around it, which is a symbol of modern medicine. Within the rim of the coin, at the top, is the text “100 Years Siriraj Hospital”. Below, is the text “26 April 1988, Thailand”. On the right, is the denomination “10”. On the left, is the text “Baht”.
