Front - center of the coin has a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, facing left, wearing the uniform of the Head of the National Scout Organization. Near the left edge of the coin is the text "Rama IX", on the right is the text "Thailand", below is the text "His Majesty the Head of the National Scout Organization" with a circle between the text.
