Coin (white gold with the royal emblem, year 1957) 1 Baht Front – The half-length portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, facing left. On the left is the royal cypher “Bhumibol Adulyadej”. On the right is the words “Rama IX”. Back – The royal emblem of King Rama V. Above is the words “Government of Thailand”. Below are Thai letters and numerals “B.E. 2500”. On the left is the word “One”. On the right is the word “Baht”. Diameter 27 millimeters. Weight 7.5 grams. Shape: Round coin, cogwheel edge. Issued on 28 January 1958. 1 Baht
