The grand Buddha consecration ceremony at Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat in year 2555, the Buddha image is beautifully designed.
Chinnarat Buddha, Chom Ratchan model, openwork print, Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, year 2555, is exquisitely designed, worthy of collecting and worshiping. Every detail of the design is meaningful. The ceremony and purpose of creation were excellent. Luang Pho Khaek Phabhaso of Wat Sunthon Pradit, Phitsanulok, presided over the ceremony, and Phra Khru Suwithansasanakit of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan presided over the auspicious gold pouring ceremony. On Visakha Bucha Day (Buddhajayanti) 2012,
the “Jormratchan” model (designed by Ajarn Thani Chinchusak (Chit.Tra.Thani), an artist known as “the Thai lines of the four elements” that move like they are alive) is
“the pinnacle of Buddhist art… recorded in the land.”
From the Buddha image that is called “the most beautiful in the land” to a work of profound Buddhist art… The openwork Buddha Chinnarat statue, the “Jormratchan” model, is another creative work… at the divine level…
since 1942, when the “Indochina” Buddha Chinnarat statue was created. Although there were only 84,000 statues made, which was considered a large number at that time, nowadays, statues in good condition are worth hundreds of thousands of baht and are very rare…
In 2012, it has been 70 years since the “Indochina” model. Therefore, a new openwork Chinnarat Buddha image was created in the same size as the “Indochina” model. The prototype was made to be as beautiful as possible. A master artist designed the lines of the Chinnarat Buddha image and then a craftsman sculpted the image from the lines into the Buddha image. What makes it special is that it can be disassembled into 4 separate parts: the Buddha image with a niche, a lotus base, and a plate under the base. All separate parts were cast and assembled together to form a complete Buddha image. The exquisite openwork arch design makes it difficult to counterfeit or imitate. This is a unique Chinnarat Buddha image that is unlike any other and has its own distinctive identity.
– Cast the Chinnarat Buddha image, Chom Ratchan model, using the Precision Casting system, a high-quality casting work. It is a casting work consisting of 4 parts: the Chinnarat Buddha image, a lotus base, a niche at the back, and a plate under the base.
– Every Chinnarat Buddha image, Chom Ratchan model, has a code and a number.
