A complete set of silver commemorative coins for the 5th cycle birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, issued in 1992. In
beautiful, uncirculated condition. A rare complete set, ideal for collectors. Issued by the Treasury Department on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday anniversary on August 12, 1992.
Announced for issuance on July 30, 1992. 🪙 The set includes three types of silver coins with the following denominations: 1️⃣ A silver coin with a face value of 150 baht.
27 mm in size, weighing 7.5 grams, with a limited production run of 25,000 coins.
2️⃣ Silver coins, 300 baht denomination.
31 mm in size, weighs 15 grams, 25,000 coins produced.
3️⃣ Silver coins, 600 baht denomination.
37 mm in diameter, 30 grams in weight, 25,000 coins produced.
Obverse : The center of the coin features an image of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, wearing a diamond-encrusted tiara, diamond chandelier earrings, a traditional Thai dress with an embroidered gold sash, and the sash and necklace of the Most Glorious Order of the Chakri, adorned with the Ratana Bhon Medal of King Rama IX and a diamond swan. Near the left edge of the coin is the inscription “Her Majesty Queen Sirikit,” and near the right edge is the inscription “Queen Consort.” Reverse : The center of the coin features the intertwined initials “SK” under a seven-tiered white umbrella. Below is the denomination. Near the top edge is the inscription “Grand Auspicious Celebration of Her Majesty’s 5th Cycle Birthday Anniversary,” and near the bottom is the inscription “August 12, 1992, Thailand,” separated by floral motifs.
