Commemorative coin 10 baht, 100 baht, the Comptroller General’s Department, year 1990, unused
Commemorative coin on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Comptroller General’s Department, obverse – middle of the coin has a portrait of King Chulalongkorn King Chulalongkorn He was dressed in normal civilian uniforms. and a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej He was dressed in a normal Chakri uniform. At the bottom there is a message that says “Rama V” “Rama IX” with the symbols of the Chakri Rajawongse in between the texts.
On the reverse side – in the middle of the coin there is a picture of the Department of Information Administration building. It consists of a bag containing money, an abacus, a calculator and a computer. The top has the mark of the Comptroller General’s Department. Below is the word “Thailand” on the left with a number indicating the price. On the right side, there is the word “Baht” next to the edge of the coin, above it says “100 Years, Department of Information Services (1890)- The Comptroller General’s Department (1990)”.
Characteristics: Round coin, smooth edge, numbered to indicate the order and purity of the metal.
