Commemorative coin for the year of the National Tree, front – center of the coin has a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej turn his face to the left His universal robes are aligned to the left edge of the coin with the inscription: “Bhumibol Adulyadej” on the right side has the inscription “Rama IX”
On the reverse side – the center of the coin has the Royal Forest Service insignia superimposed on a large tree. There is a price message overlaid on the trunk. The left side has the symbol of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the right side has the symbol of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) along the edge of the coin. “Year of the National Tree, Thailand 1985-1988” “NATIONAL YEARS OF THE TREES 1985-1988” “THAILAND”
