      This 100 Baht Banknote, Series 9, was continuously printed for 25 years, from 1948 to 1972. There were 4 editions of the banknote. At first glance, all 4 editions may look similar. There are only minor details that change in each edition, as follows:
        The front of the 1st edition banknote  has a young face, or what collectors call a young face. The banknote number is printed in black ink. The word “Banknote” has a guarantee and the watermark is a picture of a constitutional tray.
        The back of the banknote  features the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in a frame surrounded by floral patterns. The message about the penalty for counterfeiting banknotes is printed in the center of the bottom
of the 20 baht banknote, Series 1, announced for use on 17 March 1948.
