Front – The center of the coin features a portrait of His Majesty King Mahidol Adulyadej the Great, the Father of the Nation, facing forward, wearing a western-style dress. Within the lower rim of the coin is the inscription “His Majesty King Mahidol Adulyadej the Great, the Father of the Nation.”
Reverse – The center of the coin features the royal insignia, with the royal monogram “M” beneath the Great Crown and Chakri, enshrined on a two-tiered golden tray with lotus petals, supported by a lion-footed stand and a five-tiered lotus-petal umbrella on both sides. Below the insignia is the denomination and the word “Thailand”. Within the lower rim of the coin is the inscription “100 Years of the Birth of His Majesty the King, 1 January 1992”.
