The front of the coin features the portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The back features the Phra Prang of Wat Arun Ratchawararam with the year of its production printed on the side of the prang.
The 10-baht circulating coin
was first issued as circulating money from 1988 to 2008.
In 2008, the circulating coins were revised into a new series to reduce production costs and to bring the portrait more current. The
10-baht coins were produced from 2008 to 2017
(the 2008 coins included both old and new sets).
The designer of the front and back was Mrs. Phaithoon Sri Na Chiang Mai.
