, issued on December 4, 1962 Front – There is a half-length image of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, facing left. The image is not as detailed as the first edition coin. On the top edge of the coin is the royal monogram “Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama IX”. On the edge of the coin is a small lotus petal pattern surrounding the coin.
On the reverse side – there is a picture of the royal seal from the reign of King Rama V, the top of the Phra Maha Phichai Mongkut without rays. On the top edge there is the text “Government of Thailand, 1962”. On the bottom edge there is the text stating the price “One Baht”. On the edge of the coin there is a small lotus petal pattern surrounding the coin.
