A collection of uncirculated coins based on denomination is known as a “coin set”. Often, these are released annually to include all the circulating coins of that year, as well as sets of commemorative coins. Most, if not all, are worth more than face value, and some can become very valuable. For example, the US Mint coin set of 1936 is now valued at over US$ 35,000.
