This extraordinary 1 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to one of the mythological creatures of various Indigenous cultures, particularly in North America: the "Widingo". The coin has High Relief, selective coloring, and Antique Finish quality. It comes in a case, along with a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 1.000 pieces worldwide! The reverse of the coin depicts Widingo, believed to be a human who has been transformed into a monstrous being due to engaging in cannibalism, either out of necessity during a famine or due to an insatiable hunger. As punishment for this taboo act, the person's body becomes possessed by an evil spirit, turning them into a Widingo. On the top of the reverse, the inscription: "Widingo" – the name of the coin. The obverse depicts the Public Seal of Niue with the inscriptions: "NIUE" - the country of issue, "Ag 999" – the fineness of the Silver, "2023" - the year of issue, and "TWO DOLLARS" - the face value.
