This marvellous 2 Oz Silver coin is the second issue in the “Legendary Lands” series, dedicated to the most famous legendary lands. In this issue: Shambhala, the mystical city. The coin presents a detailed High Relief, has selective Gold plating, and has Antique Finish.
The reverse of the coin depicts a Hindu woman with the mystical Shambala above her. Shambhala is the capital of the underground kingdom of Agarthi. No one knows where this land lies, but it is suspected that it can be found in the inaccessible regions of the Himalayas. The top of the reverse depicts the symbol of the crown chakra, which has been plated in pure Gold. The bottom of the coin is decorated with selective UV printing, which makes the water appear to pour out of the coin. The obverse of the coin features some flowers and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “NIUE” – the issuing country, “2022” – the year of issue “5 DOLLARS” – the face value and “Ag999”- the fineness of the Silver.
